The Victorian Instruction Manual

The Victorians knew how to look after themselves. If there was any doubt they would turn to one of the many books written to advise the public of ways to do things.

People of the 21st century have forgotten a lot of these simple pieces of advice, so this blog is simply a way to reacquaint us with the methods of achieving results in a manner which relinquishes the need to hire someone to do it for you.

In essence, this is how to do everything yourself and stop being lazy.

(I should point out that a lot of this advice is older than the Victorians, but it is from the Victorian books I own that I have lifted this material. Did I say lifted? I meant borrowed.)
